Dan Gray currently works at Carroll University as their Outdoor Recreation Coordinator. Prior to Carroll, Dan worked at the Urban Ecology Center coordinating, amongst other things, group tours of our local rivers. He also wrote the book Canoeing for Everyone: A Step-by-Step Guide to Selecting the Gear, Learning the Strokes, and Planning Your Trip, published by Globe-Pequot Press.

Mike Lindemann is a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking group at Robert W. Baird & Co., where he advises public and private businesses on capital raisings, mergers & acquisitions and other corporate finance-related activities. Mike received his BA in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and MBA, with Distinction, from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. In his free time, Mike enjoys the outdoors, including fishing and hunting with his Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

Mustafa Emir earned a PhD in Civil Engineering in Canada, after relocating from his native Istanbul to North America. Emir has worked extensively with municipalities (and other clients) to mitigate stormwater run-off impacts to our waterways. Mustafa has significant experience in both stormwater management and design.

Anthony J. Handzlik handles general corporate and tax matters related to closely-held businesses, S corporations, partnerships and LLCs. He has extensive experience relating to the acquisition and sale of businesses, including the structuring of such transactions to achieve maximum tax and economic efficiency. A shareholder in the firm’s Tax and Business Law Departments, Mr. Handzlik advises clients on general corporate matters, tax planning and compensation issues.

Mr. Handzlik is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and has published several articles on corporate practice. He is a frequent speaker to accountants, attorneys, business owners and others on topics relating to closely held businesses, including the purchase and sale of such businesses and successor planning. He is an engineering graduate of Marquette University and received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin in 1984.
Mr. Handzlik was raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and now resides on the Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa.

Demaris Kenwood teaches French at Whitefish Bay Middle School where she co-advises the Green Team which engages in gardening, recycling, and Adopt A Beach activities. She lives between Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River with her husband, two daughters, a guinea pig and assorted fish and spiders. She loves doing yoga, biking, walking and cross country skiing outdoors with friends and family.

Steve was a founding partner and Executive Creative Director of Stir Marketing. Steve, along with partner Brian Bennett, built Stir into a $25M shop in eight short years. Steve now founded and runs the firm Thirsty Boy, a strategic marriage of traditional advertising with digital technology. With what little spare time he has, Steve enjoys fitness, volunteer work, anything on the water, professional and amateur sports, motorcycling (three bikes and counting), and the challenges of parenting four kids.

Sue LeVine has been a long-time member of Milwaukee Riverkeeper. She is a computer wizard and has volunteered in the Riverkeeper office to troubleshoot many of our computer complexities. She retired from UW-Milwaukee 2 years ago, after working as the technical support “go to” person at the physical plant for 25 years. She assisted employees with software and hardware problems and also developed applications for billing and tracking department information. Her interests include the environment, table tennis and saxophone.

In his free time, Eric serves on several non-profit boards. Recently, he was highlighted by the Business Journal as one of Milwaukee’s young leaders to watch.
