River Cleanups

 2009 River Cleanup a great success!

The 2009 Spring River Cleanup on April 18 was a great success, with over 3,300 volunteers participating at 46 locations throughout the region.

Volunteers cleaned up trash that had accumulated along the Milwaukee, Menomonee and Kinnickinnic Rivers, working at sites ranging from the south side of Milwaukee to West Bend and Kewaskum in the north.
