Milwaukee Riverkeeper®
Friends of Milwaukee’s Rivers is
Milwaukee’s official licensed Riverkeeper. We are
licensed by the Waterkeeper Alliance, a network with
over 156 organizations worldwide dedicated to protecting
our waterways. As Milwaukee’s Riverkeeper, FMR advocates
compliance with environmental laws, responds to citizens
complaints, identifies problems within our geographic
area, and helps provide solutions to address these
problems.
If you witness any kind of river related environmental
abuse, tell us about it. We can’t be everywhere all the
time and we need your help in identifying problems. If
you see anything out of the ordinary with our rivers and
